Join The Team Behind The Teams
Through generous support, fundraising, and hands-on involvement, the Sports Boosters help provide the resources Marmion teams need to succeed. From equipment upgrades to team essentials, every dollar raised goes right back to our Cadets. Whether you’re a parent, alum, or proud supporter, there’s a place for you in the Booster community. Boosters meet from 7:00-8:30 PM on the second Wednesday of the month in the Lux Dining Hall.
Booster Mission Statement
The Marmion Sports Boosters are an integral part of the ongoing development and success of the sports programs. The Sports Boosters’ mission for over 35 years is to support Marmion’s athletic program. Unlike other schools, Marmion has NEVER charged a participation fee for its sports teams; this is due, in part, to the support of the Sports Booster Membership program.
The Marmion Sports Booster Club objectives are:
- Provide equal support to all athletes and coaches at all levels in sports sponsored by Marmion Academy.
- Foster sportsmanship and provide an example to young people.
- Encourage a feeling of camaraderie among parents, fans, and students of
Marmion - Raise funds to support and enhance sports programs.
- Perpetuate the Marmion tradition of acting with honor and good judgment toward ourselves, our opponents, the Academy, and God.
The profits taken in by the Sports Booster program goes back into the individual sports programs for students. Each year, the Sports Boosters develop a plan to meet the requests from the Athletic Director and individual coaches. Over $50,000 is given back to the athletes of Marmion every year. This huge effort cannot be done without your involvement
