Share in an evening of elegance and friendship while raising funds for Marmion Academy. \nThis beautiful evening\, which honors the senior class for their accomplishments and potential\, is open to all Marmion parents\, past parents\, alumni\, and friends of Marmion. It includes a cocktail reception with bountiful hors d’ oeuvres and open bar\, followed by a four-course gourmet meal with wine in the Grand Ballroom\, continued open bar\, and dancing to live music. \nHIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENING\nStudent Speech \n\nEach year a student from the senior class is asked to speak about his class\, his experiences and future hopes for himself and classmates.\n\nPresentation of the Guard and Court of Honor \n\nA formal post-dinner presentation of the Guard and Court of Honor* is a highlight of the evening followed by the Presentation Dance.\n*The Guard of Honor is comprised of Marmion Academy seniors. The Court of Honor is the young ladies they escort.\n\nPresentation Dance \n\nAfter the formal presentation\, the Guard and Court of Honor parade onto the dance floor for first dance of Salute to Youth.\n\nParents’ Dance \nImmediately following the Presentation Dance\, all parents of the Guard and Court of Honor are invited to join their son/daughter on the dance floor. \nABBOT CIRCLE TABLES\nEnjoy the best spots at Salute to Youth along with a few extra perks! \nThis special Salute to Youth table includes: \n\nGuaranteed premium location around the dance floor\nBottles of champagne at your table\nSeating for up to 10 guests\nRecognition in our Event Program\n\nPlease contact Kathleen Hausmann\, Executive Director of Advancement\, at khausmann@marmion.org for additional information. \nAbbot Circle Tables are on a first come first served basis and are limited in number. The Advancement Office coordinates the choosing of the tuxedo style along with fittings\, delivery and pick up of the tuxedo. It is all handled at Marmion Academy and typically during the school day or immediately after school. DESCRIPTION:#GivingTuesday began in 2012 as a hashtag and grassroots movement to encourage generosity the Tuesday after Thanksgiving; it’s now a major annual day of collective giving and volunteering that drives billions of dollars and tens of millions of actions across the U.S. and worldwide. Organizations use the day to launch targeted appeals\, recruit new supporters\, and amplify year-end fundraising. \nAt Marmion Academy\, #GivingTuesday is integrated into the school’s advancement strategy as an opportunity to direct unrestricted support to the Marmion Fund These short\, high-energy campaigns also help Marmion engage alumni\, families\, and new donors and can unlock matching grants or local incentive grants when participation goals are met. \nIf you are thankful for Marmion\, please consider supporting our efforts on #GivingTuesday. \nDonate here.
